SUMMARY:Phase #4 - Volunteer Practice
DESCRIPTION:Refinement and Belief In Self\n\nVolunteer Practice follows the completion of New and Existing Volunteer Training and is designed to support volunteers in building belief in self through repetition\, refinement\, and thoughtful skill progression. \nThis experience focuses on deepening core skills with additional time to practice\, ask questions\, and receive individual guidance within a supportive and attentive environment. \nDuring Volunteer Practice\, volunteers deepen skills such as haltering\, grooming\, leading\, and tacking as appropriate\, practice moving together as a group and finding shared rhythm with the horses\, and build consistency\, awareness\, and confidence through hands-on repetition. Participants continue developing connections with their own nervous system and learn how their presence impacts the horse\, refining awareness of equine responses and how to influence those responses through embodied\, non dominant presence. \nVolunteer Practice is experiential\, steady\, and growth focused\, allowing skills to unfold naturally through practice\, reflection\, and relationship with the horses. \nWe are grateful for your interest in sharing your time and talents with Equellness.
