Mission

Our mission is to build wellness in an inclusive community through innovative programs incorporating horses. We offer a personalized approach to wellness, recognizing that everyone’s journey is unique. 

Our safe and welcoming space implements equine-assisted activities, mindfulness practices, and rhythmic movement to improve resilience, self-awareness, and emotional regulation. 

We believe in the power of community and inclusivity, and our commitment is to promote wellness, personal growth, and a compassionate community.

There are many ways to volunteer!

We are always looking for on-site operational volunteers, horse leaders and side walkers, as well as those specializing in administration, photography, marketing, fundraising, grant writing & program implementation.

Steps to Becoming A Volunteer

Complete the Volunteer Application. Once we process your application, you will receive a link to schedule a Discovery Call.

Complete the volunteer application and schedule a phone call.

You will receive a welcome packet with program volunteer training dates and paperwork that will need to be signed.​

You will be required to attend at least 2 Volunteer training and practice sessions prior to signing up for Equellness Center’s program volunteer shifts.​

Let us know of changes in address, phone numbers, or email, as well as changes in health or recent physical injuries.​
